OWNERS and PROPERTY HISTORY
An extraordinary man....
Our Dad took residence at The Passage after a partial swap of a rural property in Mooloolah over 40 years ago. He knew it was time to return to waterfront living, having lived on the ocean front at golden Beach for many years, he knew it was th ideal place to bring up his four daughters. Having been recently widowed, the town centre location, the large living spaces combined with the access to the healthy lifestyle he desired for his girls made this property the perfect home. He was lucky to have retired early and would spend most of his days playing on his surf ski, paddling up and down the Passage, fishing for our dinner till the early morning. At age 55 he decided to return to part-time work as a mechanic to help out a friend to train young apprentice at a local Caloundra garage. Dad loved his lifestyle, and it was instrumental in creating a way of living that would forever influence his four girls.

We all attended local Caloundra State & High Schools and had a magical childhood. Caloundra was a fishing village in those days, with quiet beaches, and a very local community. The elements being the perfect backdrop to allow us to flourish. We all eventually went on to study and travel abroad, and are now spread around the globe in France, Mauritius & england, yet still call Caloundra home, returning to stay with Dad as often as possible over the past 25 years. It is with great sadness that we sell our family home, Dad's home, with his passing in 2022 we now feel ready to say goodbye.
Property history
It was built back in the 70's, the era of large rooms, high ceilings - generous proportions and prime locations. There was one prior owner to our Dad, and has been our family home ever since the mid 80's. Dad lived an active and healthy life, finally passing at age 88, through natural causes.
